Introduction:

Aqua EM 290 is a high-performance, water-based, solvent-free silane water repellent designed specifically for normal and reinforced concrete surfaces. Engineered for deep penetration (up to ¼ inch), it provides long-lasting, internal protection against moisture ingress. Its small molecular structure delivers exceptional water repellency from within the substrate without forming a surface film—maintaining the original appearance and texture of the concrete.
This eco-friendly, VOC-free formula supports surface breathability, effectively preventing moisture entrapment. By significantly reducing water absorption, it helps guard against spalling, efflorescence, and freeze-thaw damage. Application:

Water repellent for exterior coating:

  • Water repellent exterior paint forms a protective barrier that prevents water absorption, keeping surfaces dry and protected. It enhances durability, resists moisture damage, and is ideal for walls, roofs, and outdoor structures exposed to harsh weather.

Top coats and finishing coats:

  • Use exclusively on porous or semi-porous substrates.
  • For direct coatings, dilute 1:10 to 1:14 with water; a lower dilution may not always deliver better results.
  • Cure it at room temperature (25–30°C) for at least 48 hours.

Waterproof admixture for concrete:

  • A high-performance integral waterproofing admixture specially formulated to enhance the water resistance of concrete and mortar. It reacts chemically within the mix to reduce the capillary porosity and permeability, offering long-term protection against moisture, dampness, and water ingress.
